Perfectly suited to your tractor: Combine the power of PTO fan drive, with the convenience of our latest hydraulic drive and control system for processing straw and dry hay bales.
Smart Hydraulic Drive: The tried and tested Wi-Fi control desk operates all functions including the loading gate, as well as incorporating a pushbutton pause/resume spreading feature. The load on the crossbeater is monitored, with an auto reverse function automatically operating when it overloaded to allow the operator to focus on livestock condition.
All Bale Sizes: The 6200P can accommodate a full 4' x 4' x 8' (1.2 x 1.2 x 2.4m) rectangular bale, or a 5' (1.5m) round bale. Straw and Dry Hay can be processed.
Pause / Run modes control processing at the touch of a button. Loading gate, chute and processing are reliably controlled from the handler cab. Cab and external 12V supplies are required.
The blades/hooks on the full width crossbeater break the bale apart, then feed the straw into the fan.
A pressure switch automatically reverses the bed chain and crossbeater when overloaded. The pressure is easily adjustable for optimisation for handler / bale type.
For extended / service life intervals, a self-aligning cush drive absorbs loading as the crossbeater reverses and reengages to process the bale.
The hydraulic loading gate with adjustable bale beam makes it easy to self load round or rectangular bales.
The three-point hitch is compatible with Cat II and III tractors.
For accurate placement of processed bales, the machine is fitted with a 3 stage chute, with Hardox wearing surfaces.
The single speed 8 paddle fan (775rpm) ensures maximum blow distance. Paddles are easily replaced for straightforward servicing.
The large capacity 320mm wide chute a Hardox wearing surface for durability. The chute rotates 280 deg. enabling the operator to easily place straw across the entire bedding area.
Six heavy-duty 60mm x 40mm bed slats are attached with U-Bolts for straightforward servicing to large 10mm diameter galvanised bed chains.
A pressure gauge assists the operator in setting up the auto-reverse function to ensure efficient operation.

What are the benefits of a straw blower?
How often an operator beds down, and how much straw they use, will determine the amount of time and straw saved. In every case there will be an improvement in livestock heath and cleanliness if the correct machine is used, particularly with a little and often bedding strategy.
Also consider convenience, reduced risk by not entering the pen, and improved manure quality.
How does a straw blower save straw?
Bales are efficiently broken apart and spread evenly over the bedding area. Straw is lightly bruised to make it absorbent, but not chopped short. Long straw provides structure in the bed. If you only need a part bale for a pen, no problem, save the rest of the bale for another area.
