Technical Sales Administrator – Global Shipments
Permanent, Full-Time

We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Sales Administrator, responsible for global shipments, to join our busy sales office team on the outskirts of Truro.  

As part of our experienced sales office team, this role will be primarily supporting our Export Sales team to facilitate machine and parts shipments to our global distributor network. Close and proactive liaison with the Sales Teams, Accounts, and Manufacturing departments is essential to the smooth operation of the company, as is keeping the customer informed, by email or phone, at all stages of the process. Although administration based, this role is diverse and will include elements of order processing, machine shipping logistics, parts support, customer enquiry handling and general administration duties. 

The role will ideally suit an individual with experience of international shipping and customs procedures (predominantly USA, Eastern Europe, Ukraine and Southern Hemisphere Countries) who is used to working in a busy office environment, preferably with an understanding of the agricultural machinery industry.

The successful candidate must have competent business administration skills, the ability to work independently or as a member of a team and be used to dealing with customers in a professional and courteous manner. Full computer literacy is essential as is familiarisation with the Microsoft office suite of programmes. Experience of using Epicor (or similar manufacturing ERP system) is highly preferential as is an understanding and/or experience of dealing with the Chamber of Commerce.

This is full time, office based, permanent position. Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8am to 4:15pm (one day a week until 5pm) with 28 days holiday per annum including public holidays.
