Paintline Operative

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced powder coater to join our team based at Blackwater.  You will be responsible for ensuring items are loaded, shotblasted, painted and unloaded correctly and to an efficient and high.
 

Main Tasks & Responsisiblities 

• Load, Shotblast, Paint & Unload components according to strict guidelines, designs, technical drawings and instructions.
• Help to gather & organise the correct parts requested/required by different sections.
• Meet the expected standards of accuracy, efficiency, quality and output as set by the Company
• Complete daily inspection/check sheets
• Determine appropriate tools or method based on requirements and use them according to strict safety standards
• Perform daily operational checks on machinery and tools; identify and report any defects
• Maintain tools, equipment and hanging hooks in a condition that does not compromise safety
• Regularly check quality of parts to ensure they meet the required standards set. 
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations
• Operation of all associated machinery and tools to move raw material and large components

Skills

• Experience of industrial painting and associated equipment
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documents
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritise effectively
