Job Overview

We are seeking a Fettler to join our team based at Blackwater.  You will be required to use hand tools and machinery to grind, de-burr, remove weld spatter and finish metal components to specified tolerances.

Requirements

• Fettling, sanding, and de-burring metal components to engineering drawings
• Operating hand, air, and power tools to remove sharp edges and finish parts
• Part marking, reworking parts, and supporting quality control checks
• Collection/movement of parts from different locations within the factory. 
• Meet the expected standards of accuracy, efficiency and quality as set by the Company
• Inspect completed work for defects and make necessary repairs as required
• Maintain tools and equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations
• Operation of all associated machinery and tools to move components
